My Inner Nerd Is Screaming With Delight!

I am in awe of brilliance and PBS Idea Channel host Michael Rugnetta is nothing if not brilliant.

The most recent installment of this delightfully mind blowing mind candy centers around the concepts of reality, fact, and fiction.

In part one, he uses War of the Worlds as a means to illustrate how fiction exists within our collective consciousness.

In part two, he continues the exercise using Harry Potter.

Is anyone else as turned on as I am right now? 😛

 

Accidental Art

I was going through an image folder today, clearing out the duplicates and deleting the mistakes when I stumbled upon this colorful little gem.

This is what happens when you accidentally hit the shutter while your camera is set for long exposures.

If you look closely you can probably identify the objects in the picture, but I think it’s more beautiful if you don’t know.
